As Financial Controller, you will be in charge of:
– Detailed analysis of P&L of several contracts, able to explain differences of actuals against budget and forecast
– Close cooperation with business and contract managers, provide professional support to them
– Participating in contract related profitability protection projects
– Ensure correct cost and revenue allocation
– Work as end-user and understand the connection of different systems related to cost and revenue of the contracts
– Coordinating month end closure activities : participating in country calls, calculating accruals, deferrals and preparing margin analysis
– Maintaining accounting, financial reporting and financial controls to ensure adequate records in the books

What you need to have:

Soft skills:

– Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes during delivering a service is a must
– Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group settings to achieve common goals is an advantage
– The ability to convey information to someone effectively and efficiently while creating a good first impres
sion and engaging the audience is a must
– Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision is a must
– Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation is a must

Professional skills:

– To understand the accounting principles (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) is a must
– 1-2 years controlling, 3-4 years finance experience is a must

Language skills:

– English on a fluent level is a must
– French on a fluent level is an advantage
