Closing and Reporting Manager (HE-8367)
– The Closing and reporting manager will be responsible for:
– Closing the financial books based on local GAAPs and IFRS
– General ledger bookings
– Reconciliations of subledgers and general ledger accounts
– Create monthly and quarterly reports for the management and local market organization
– Implementation of checking procedures on all Financial area
– Secure and supervise the financial data control and quality for the given market
– Secure the legal annual accounts and full audit of the financial parts of the market(s) including the IRFS books for the entities. This includes: interim and yearly audit, authority audits, internal audit. VAT, corporate tax, all other taxes and any local statistics
– People management administration for direct reports
– Learn and perform the country related Financial processes end-to-end in each area. Be the back up knowledge owner person for all the SSC Finance colleagues within the nominated country(s) and in any Financial processes based upon request
– Prepare, review and supervise process documentation to ensure completeness for the given country. Ensure that the documents are up-to-date
-Support implementation the monitoring and measuring system for Financial tasks within the nominated country. Coordinate and monitor financial closing process for the nominated country. Ensure quality and timeliness
-Active participation in Migration and ensure completeness and correctness of taken over tasks
-Flexibility in traveling during and after migration
-Report Migration status of nominated country to the Transition Manager
-Participation in Financial and other projects in name of SSC based upon request
-Any ad hoc requests based upon need
Required experience and skills:
-Academic degree in finance
-Several years of experience in closing books, managing the reporting functions in an SSC environment
-Project management skills
-Good understanding of all financial processes
-Leadership experience
-2+ year experience of people management, coaching, conflict solving, motivation
-Negotiation skills
-Goal oriented and with good stakeholder management skills
-Excellent English in spoken and written language
-Excellent German in spoken and written language (only who work on Germany or Switzerland)
-Highly developed communications and analytical mindset
-1+ year of experience with SAP FI/CO on GL areas
