Being responsible for change and incident management, customer enquiries
Reviewing, advising and implementing firewall changes in line with BT & customer security policies and change control processes.
Delivering and verifying the implementation and operational end to end delivery for a subset of an IT security service and for a subset of the IT Security strategy, policy, procedures, processes, systems, threat identification & response that provide IT security services and solutions for or on security infrastructure.
Communicating with the customers, analyzing their requests and providing feedback to be aligned with BT policies and processes
Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
Prioritising and organising assigned tasks with good time management
Supporting the delivery of a discrete security service that influences and/or provides the security infrastructure for BT and customers.

Professional skills:

Hands-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure is an advantage
Hands-on skills of any F5, Fortinet, PaloAlto and/or Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls
Accredited or Certified either to Checkpoint CCSA or CCSE, Cisco CCNA or CCNP is an advantage
Ability to handle changes and incidents independently as per the processes and agreed service levels
