As a Senior Financial Controller of the third biggest customer of the Global Services you will be based in Budapest to support our company’s Global Services organization with delivering complete, accurate, timely, fit for purpose management information and analysis. The contract with the customer in the FMCG industry is an extremely complex global contract and as the role holder you will work under the direction of the Lead Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis of the contract within the UK and in Europe.

What you’ll be doing:

– Participating in the month-end closing and analysis of actuals including – Preparation of revenue and cost accruals, deferrals, reclassifications in line with the newly effective IFRS15 – Monitoring, validation and adjustments of intercompany recharges and internal costs -Global labour and external cost re-distribution -Preparation of actual consolidated figures of the contract for Europe -Participation in regional business calls -Leading finance calls
– Forecast related tasks including -Preparation of variance analysis for Europe -P/L Review of the countries in Europe and launching actions/corrections
– Dealing with SOX controls and supporting the external audits
– Forex analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
– Global project P/L preparations, analysis, presentations to stakeholders
